Project Detail
- Project: SIPs
- Type: Garage New Build
- Location: Invergordon
- Client: Residential
Client Brief
The client wanted to add space to their property and take advantage of their spacious garden by building a stand-alone garden studio. With a specific design in mind, they wanted the building to blend into the surrounding woodland, all while having lots of character and charm.
What We Did
The garden studio needed to be warm and inviting to accommodate the cold Scottish nights! We used SIP panels to provide maximum insulation and comfort.
To provide the rustic charm the client was looking for, we clad the outside of the building with sarking board. The client sourced the green posts from a reclamation yard, which added character and played an integral part in supporting the front porch roof.
We completed many aspects of the build, from erecting the SIP panels to plaster boarding and skimming the interior.
The Result
The client needed a fast turnaround, so we optimised our building schedule to ensure we could erect the garden studio soon as possible, working closely with other tradespeople. We delivered the project on time, and the client was extremely pleased with their brand-new outbuilding.
