Client Brief

Our client was a young family wanting to turn their narrow galley kitchen into a modern open-plan kitchen and diner for entertaining. They were looking for a complete transformation, which we were happy to help with!

What We Did

We stripped the galley kitchen and adjoining dining space back to the blockwork, removing the dividing wall to join the rooms together. We fitted a structural steel beam and plasterboarded the space.

Next, we fitted under-cupboard lighting and downlighters to provide ambient light and give the room a contemporary feel. We also changed and moved the sockets to accommodate the new appliances.

We then fitted new windows and doors and replastered and painted the space. Next came a new fitted kitchen, oak wood floor, and skirting and worktops.

As with all our renovation and building projects, we worked closely with a structural engineer, planning, and building control to ensure the finished project was safe and structurally sound.

The Result

The client was excited to get the dream space they always wanted and was not disappointed. They were impressed by the exceptional quality of the products and the high-quality finish our specialist team provided.
