Client Brief

This is a new build on behalf of a client in Aviemore. We are managing the project from start to finish, a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom property. The home is ‘upside down’, meaning the living area is upstairs instead of downstairs.

What We Did

This house is being constructed from solid and sustainable SIP panels, meaning the complete upstairs area can be open plan. We designed the property with vaulted ceilings and one main glulam beam exposed in the centre, which is the only thing needed to hold up the entire roof.

The upstairs living space will also have a balcony leading out of a large sliding dorm, making the most of the breathtaking views over the Cairngorms.

The Result

We are still working on this project, but it is looking fantastic, and we’re excited to see the end result. The client is looking forward to a luxurious open-plan home with spectacular views inside and out!
